Joseph Scianablo

Town Supervisor
Hempstead, New York

Joseph K. Scianablo is a Marine combat veteran, retired NYPD officer, and former prosecutor who has dedicated his life to service and protecting others. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1996 and, after two tours in peacetime, was later deployed to Iraq as a Sergeant following the attacks of September 11th. His military service shaped his leadership philosophy: discipline, accountability, and never leaving anyone behind. After returning home, Joe served honorably in the NYPD before earning his law degree and becoming a prosecutor, where he advocated for survivors and victims of domestic violence and their families. In 2025, Joe challenged the status quo at Hempstead Town Hall and exposed serious concerns about transparency and accountability. Now, he is running for Supervisor under the banner of No Community Left Behind, focused on independent audits, fiscal responsibility, safer communities, and restoring trust in local government. Joe believes Town Hall should work for the people, not political insiders.
