Jonathan Briggs is a member of the Prince George's County Board of Education in Maryland, representing District 2. He previously served as the Policy Manager at America Forward, a nonpartisan policy initiative of New Profit, a Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) Fellow, and a Education Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Education, where he co-managed a portfolio of discretionary grant awardees in the Office of Program and Grantee Support Services. Briggs started his career as a teacher as a 2013 Teach for America - Kansas City Corps member.
