David Crowley

Governor
Wisconsin

David Crowley's career has been defined by breaking barriers and building bridges. After serving with AmeriCorps, he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2016, where he championed economic development and criminal justice reform. In 2019, he made history as the youngest person and first African American elected as Milwaukee County Executive, where he has led the state's most populous county through unprecedented challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic and economic recovery efforts. Under his leadership, Milwaukee County has prioritized mental health services, workforce development, and government accountability. A Milwaukee native and University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate, David is running for Governor to bring his proven track record of servant leadership and results-driven governance to the state level.
