Mitchell Berman was raised in a one-stoplight town in rural Wisconsin. His father built a small roofing business from the ground up and his mother worked long hours grinding pistons at the local foundry. Mitchell was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning his degree while working three jobs, living paycheck to paycheck, and taking out student loans. With more than 23 years of experience in healthcare, Mitchell is a registered nurse who has spent over a decade serving veterans, active duty service members, and their families at the VA, and he continues to serve as a board-certified emergency nurse today.
