Sabrina Bruce is a twelve-year veteran of the Air Force and Space Force. She enlisted in the military in 2013 and has served around the world in assignments that have taken her from Djibouti to the UK to South Korea, all the while forging a path that was not about identity, but about showing up and getting the work done. In 2025, Sabrina was fired from the military by Trump because she is transgender. Instead of letting that define her, she refused to shy away from her commitment to service. Politics was never her plan, but the moment we are living in calls for action. Sabrina is running for Town Council in Herndon, VA to fight for a more walkable, affordable, and safer town.
