Andre D. Carroll is an organizer born and raised in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. He was raised by his single grandmother, is a proud graduate of Germantown High School, and understands what it means to grow up in a neighborhood that has been left behind for far too long. Andre currently serves on the board of The Brothahood Foundation, an organization that mentors incarcerated youth being charged as adults. In April 2024, Andre won the Democratic primary for State Representative in HD 201. He will become the next State Representative in the district, making history as the second openly gay State Representative in Pennsylvania's history.
