Andre D. Carroll, a Germantown native and Germantown High School graduate, has dedicated his life to public service and community organizing. After completing the Year-Up workforce development program, Andre served as a substitute teacher in Philadelphia schools and worked in the City Controller's Office, advocating for diversity in pension fund management. His political experience includes managing successful campaigns for the Working Families Party and running a competitive primary race for state representative. Andre currently serves on advisory boards for youth mentorship and political engagement organizations. His 2023 campaign launch for Philadelphia City Council garnered broad grassroots support from a diverse coalition, reflecting his deep community ties and progressive vision for the city.
