Daniella Deseta Lyttle

Daniella Deseta Lyttle is the presiding judge of the Texas 261st District Court. She is the first Latina and the first immigrant, as well as the first female Army veteran to do so. Prior to being elected, she was a multilingual award-winning trial lawyer working in Austin, where she has resided for over 24 years. Judge DeSeta Lyttle was a litigator in the district courts of Travis County, serving her community in the areas of family law and immigration. She also served as Army Infantry Combat Medic for eight years. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida and holds her JD from Michigan State University College of Law.
