Lourdes Barroso de Padilla, daughter of Cuban immigrants, was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, where she now raises her own family. Inspired by her experiences navigating systems not built for her family's needs, Lourdes has dedicated her career to creating access and opportunity for all. With over 20 years at City Year, an education-focused organization, she has helped found five sites nationwide and currently serves as Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement, overseeing major gifts and corporate programs.
