
Eileen Laubacher
Rear Admiral (Ret.) Eileen Laubacher is a 34-year U.S. Navy veteran who followed a proud family legacy of service. She joined the 11th class with women at the United States Naval Academy and graduated in 1990. After more than seven years as an intelligence officer serving in the United States and abroad, she left active duty and joined the Navy Reserve. She made Colorado home with her husband, Chris, and raised five children in Highlands Ranch. In 2009, she deployed to Afghanistan when her children were 10, 8, 6, 4, and 1. When she became an Admiral in 2018, the Navy asked her to serve as Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché in New Delhi, India, from 2019 to 2022. After that tour, she was asked to join the National Security Council to serve as Senior Director for South Asia. She retired from the Navy in October 2024 and returned home to Colorado, where she lives with her husband, children, and three grandchildren.
