Bentley Hudgins
Bentley Hudgins is a Georgia-born, Japanese-American human rights leader, voting rights expert, and union member with the NewsGuild-CWA 32035. A Mercer University graduate with a degree in Philosophy and Bioethics, Bentley has spent the last decade on the frontlines of democracy — at the ACLU of Georgia, the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, the New Georgia Project, the Georgia AFL-CIO, and most recently as Georgia State Director for the Human Rights Campaign, where they led the coalition that defeated every anti-LGBTQ+ bill introduced in Georgia in 2024 and again in 2026. They are running to represent House District 90, the home of the fight for voting rights in Georgia, to lower costs, protect the right to vote and stop the MAGA crusade against our neighbors and our civil rights. United with their neighbors against corruption and greed, they believe that people-first, year round organizing is the pathway to building power for everyday Georgians.
