Sean McCarthy has spent his entire adult life in public service. Over 33 years with the Nassau County Police Department, he rose through the ranks to Chief of Support Services, leading large teams through high-pressure moments and never losing sight of the people he served. Today, he continues that work as Police Commissioner of the Port Washington Police District. Now, Sean is running for North Hempstead Town Supervisor, bringing the same values that guided his career in law enforcement: integrity, accountability, and a belief that public service means showing up for people, not headlines. He's running to make this community safer, more affordable, and better served by leaders who actually do the work.
