Bobbie Daniel
Born in Meeker, Colorado, and raised in Palisade, Colorado, Bobbie is the daughter of a hairdresser and a coal miner. She began helping at a local Mesa County Pregnancy Center with her mother at age 10. Bobbie was later accepted into the domestic Peace Corps program—AmeriCorps—and served at the former Fort Lowry Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado, where she worked to support the most vulnerable populations in the state.
At just 23, she ventured into business ownership, and by the time she was 33, she had over a decade of experience as a salon owner. In her role as a hairdresser, Bobbie had the unique opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, many of whom shared their stories, frustrations, and feelings of losing control over their own lives.
Bobbie learned early the value of hard work and the challenges facing families in similar circumstances, including high taxes and complex regulations. With many of her clients struggling to find work, a record number of homes foreclosed, healthcare lost for countless families, and her father’s lifelong career squeezed to the brink—all due to failed policies—Bobbie became determined to empower people to take control of their own lives. Motivated by personal experience with the failures of big government, she has since fought for individuals to regain autonomy and voice in their own futures.
Currently serving as a County Commissioner for Mesa County, Bobbie is married to small business owner Nick Daniel, a Rifle native. Together, they are raising their four children in Grand Junction, Colorado.
