
Dawn Gile
Dawn Gile is a member of the Maryland State Senate, representing District 33. She was elected to the Senate in 2022 and selected to serve on the Senate Finance Committee. Gile is also a nonprofit leader and an award-winning military family advocate. In her nonprofit leadership roles, she worked with stakeholders and policymakers at the state and federal levels to fight for working families. She formerly served as president of Military Spouse JD Network, an organization dedicated to serving the military and veteran community by expanding employment opportunities for military spouses and providing pro bono legal services for Gold Star families, veteran caregivers, and veteran entrepreneur. She also served as secretary of Vigilant Torch Association and Foundation, an organization that provides emergency relief assistance and scholarships for veterans and military families. Gile is also an experienced attorney, representing businesses in litigation in Maryland and the District of Columbia for the past 15 years. Gile is the proud spouse of an Army soldier with over 24 years of active duty service. Dawn obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rockford University and her juris doctor degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
