Senator Jaha Howard was elected to the Georgia Senate in December 2025. He represents District 35, which includes portions of Cobb and Fulton counties. Dr. Howard grew up in Southwest Atlanta and graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School in 1999. He later attended Howard University, earning both his B.S. in Chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery. As a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist and owner of A+ Pediatric Dentistry of Atlanta, he and his team have worked for 15 years to improve the oral health and overall quality of life for children. The practice has served over 10,000 patients from a variety of family backgrounds and has created numerous jobs in the community. Dr. Howard served four years as an elected member on the Board of Education for Cobb County Schools. He also served on Cobb County's Transit Advisory Board and is a current member of the Howard University College of Dentistry Board of Visitors. Sen. Howard currently lives in Smyrna with his wife of 18 years and three children.
