Sean Carlson is a lifelong Michigander, military veteran, and dedicated public servant with decades of service to his state and country. He enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 and later served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. A Michigan State University graduate with degrees in business, labor relations, and law, Sean has built a career focused on effective, accountable government. He recently served as Oakland County Deputy Executive, working to modernize services, create jobs, and deliver results for residents, and previously held leadership roles in state government that saved taxpayers over $250 million. He also served 14 years on the Huron Valley School Board and lives in Commerce Township with his family.
