Alex Quagge
Raised in Las Vegas as the son of a Marine and an immigrant mother from the Philippines, Alex Quagge learned early the values of service, perseverance, and hard work. He worked his way through college on scholarships while his mother battled cancer. After her passing, Alex joined the Nevada Army National Guard as an armor officer, where leading and mentoring young soldiers inspired him to pursue a career advocating for others. Alex went on to earn his law degree from UNLV's Boyd School of Law and answered the call to active duty service in the Army JAG Corps. There, he served as both a prosecutor and a defense attorney, gaining valuable courtroom experience on both sides of the justice system. Today, he serves as a Deputy District Attorney in Clark County and continues to serve as a Major in the Nevada Army National Guard. Throughout his legal career, Alex has handled thousands of cases and taken multiple jury trials to verdict. Now a candidate for District Court Judge, Department 29, in Clark County, Nevada, Alex understands the importance of equal access to justice, and he is committed to ensuring every person who enters the courtroom is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
