Emily Cherniack, Founder and Executive Director of New Politics, released the following statement:
“These candidates were called to serve long before politics was ever on their radar. They've spent their careers setting their own ambitions aside to serve their communities and their country. Now they're bringing that same integrity and sense of duty to serving their communities and driving change at the ground level all over the country. Fixing our democracy starts with betting on servant leaders close to home, in the town halls and statehouses where daily life actually gets decided. New Politics is honored to back every name on this list.”
