About  Brooke Lierman
Delegate Brooke Lierman is a disability and civil rights attorney, mother of two, and state legislator. Brooke joined the General Assembly in 2015, spent five years as a Member of the Appropriations Committee before assuming a leadership role on the Environment and Transportation Committee in 2019. She is also the House Chair for the Joint Committee on Pensions, sits on the Joint Committee on Ending Homelessness, and founded and formerly co-chaired the Maryland Transit Caucus. Brooke has successfully passed landmark legislation to invest in and improve public transit; end suspension and expulsion of young students; fund evidence-based gun violence prevention programs; aid sex trafficking victims; close loopholes in our family and paid leave laws and much more. In 2019, working with environmental groups and small businesses around the state, she passed the nation’s first statewide ban on Styrofoam food and beverage containers, and in 2020 she passed the HOME Act, banning housing discrimination based on the renter’s source of income. 

Brooke is a powerful advocate for her constituents and a champion for families and small businesses around the state. Amidst the health and economic crises created by COVID-19, she has organized food relief for constituents and led the successful effort to bring World Central Kitchen to Baltimore to feed thousands in need. About Don Davis
Don Davis was born and raised in rural Snow Hill, North Carolina. After growing up working in the tobacco fields, Don attended the United States Air Force Academy and was commissioned as an officer, and served in uniform for 8 years. There, Don coordinated Air Force One operations at Andrews Air Force Base and supported families of military members killed in action as a mortuary officer. While stationed at Air Force ROTC Detachment 600, Don returned to eastern North Carolina as an assistant professor of Aerospace Studies at East Carolina University instructing national security affairs and leadership courses. He earned his doctorate in education and has continued to teach and mentor students for 20 years. Upon leaving the Air Force, Don continued his commitment to public service - becoming the youngest Mayor of his hometown, Snow Hill, at age 29. As Mayor, Don focused on re-building the local economy and investing in essential infrastructure projects – like high-speed internet. In his six terms as a Senator in the state legislature, Don has served as a champion for eastern North Carolina, fighting for our rural communities and delivering results for our families. In his tenure, Don fought and won teacher pay raises, a $1 billion investment to expand high-speed internet access, tax exemptions for military pensions, and $215 million in funding for the ECU Brody School of Medicine which serves the surrounding 19 rural counties. Don is running for Congress to fight for eastern North Carolina and take our values to Washington. He lives in Greene County, NC, with his wife Yuvonka and three sons: Ryan, Justin, and Kyler.

About Ruben Ramirez
Ruben Ramirez was born in the Rio Grande Valley and grew up in Edinburg, Texas in humble beginnings, but with a loving grandmother and father who instilled the value of integrity, hard work, and patriotism in him. After attending the University of Texas-Pan American – today known as the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley – he became a licensed educator and taught Chemistry and Physics to high school students in his hometown. He volunteered to join the war in Afghanistan to fight for our freedom in the U.S. Army, and was recognized with a battlefield promotion and a Bronze Star for his leadership. After being honorably discharged, he attended the University of Houston Law Center with his young family in tow. About Jessica Mason
Jessica was born and raised in South Dallas. She attended E.B Comstock Middle School and Skyline Highschool. Growing up in poverty, Jessica struggled to afford a college education, but found a way forward by enlisting in the Navy where she served as a medic. She briefly worked in the Virginia General Assembly while earning her master’s degree before turning her focus to organizing and providing direct support to communities in need. Jessica returned to Dallas at the height of the COVID pandemic to begin working as an affordable housing administrator focused on delivering life-sustaining resources to low-income communities, assisting families and individuals with rent assistance, providing food and nutrition services, and helping navigate healthcare services. Jackie Gordon is a veteran, educator, public servant, and community leader. Jackie was born in Jamaica, West Indies, and grew up in Queens, NY. Over her 29-year career in the Armed Forces, Jackie served honorably at home and abroad, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. She retired from the Army Reserve with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. Following her time in uniform, Jackie spent three decades working in New York public schools. About Jason Dozier
Jason Dozier is an Atlanta native and lives in the Mechanicsville community with his wife, Claire, and their daughter, Rayna. He earned his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Georgia and currently works as a director at Hire Heroes USA, a non-profit which helps veterans earn good-paying jobs. Jason served in the Army as a reconnaissance officer in both Iraq and Afghanistan, earning the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. Cheryl Grosso is a veteran, nurse, and information technology professional with more than 15 years of experience in healthcare, information systems and organizational development. Cheryl began her career as a nurse in the United States Army working on a Cardiac Care Unit at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.  During her career she has progressed through a series of roles in Professional Nursing in Critical Care, Education, Management and Process Improve- ment. About Daniella Deseta Lyttle
Daniella is running to be the first immigrant and the first female veteran to serve the 261st Civil District Court in Travis County, Austin, Texas.

As an immigrant, mother, and Army veteran, Daniella understands all too well that we need judges who understand the struggles of working families and who have the temperament, compassion, and cultural competence to serve on the bench. Daniella is an award-winning multilingual trial lawyer (Spanish and Portuguese) who has served her community in the areas of family law and immigration for over twelve years.

Daniella served as Army Infantry Combat Medic for eight years, graduated with honors from University of South Florida and graduated at the top ten percent of her class - Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law.
