Darrin Madison
Darrin Madison is a lifelong Milwaukee organizer and State Representative for Wisconsin's 10th Assembly District. Elected in 2022 as one of the first Democratic Socialists to serve in the Wisconsin Legislature since 1931, he is committed to advancing social, environmental, and economic justice. Darrin has led efforts to lower utility costs, protect consumers from unchecked data center development, strengthen youth justice, improve conditions of confinement, advance environmental protections, and build an economy that works for working families. During the 2025–2026 Legislative Session, he serves on four Assembly committees and is the Ranking Democrat on the Committees on Science, Technology, and AI; Urban Revitalization; and the Joint Committee on Information Policy and Technology. His leadership has earned statewide and national recognition for environmental advocacy and coalition-building rooted in community.
