WASHINGTON D.C. (September 25, 2025) — New Politics today announced its endorsement of Darren McAuley for Congress in Florida's 15th Congressional District. About Darren McAuley
Colonel Darren McAuley is a U.S. Air Force veteran, sports medicine specialist, and father of three running for Florida's 15th Congressional District. His military service has taken him on six tours of duty with more than 300 combat hours, including caring for injured servicemen and women in combat zones in Iraq and Syria. He joined the Air National Guard knowing he needed to be part of something bigger than himself and help keep the country safe. McAuley currently serves as State Air Surgeon for Florida, coordinating the state's response during hurricanes and natural disasters, and provides care within the Veterans Health Administration. He also serves as department chair at the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine.
