WASHINGTON D.C. (July 22, 2026) — New Politics today endorsed Callie Barr for U.S. Congress in Michigan's 1st Congressional District. Barr is a former teacher and veteran advocate who was inspired to work on behalf of veterans and military families when her husband returned from Iraq and Afghanistan with combat injuries. New Politics was founded to support servant leaders like her who put others before themselves.
