Every New Politics incumbent, all of them military and national service veterans, holds their seat, including several in competitive districts

WASHINGTON D.C. (November 4, 2026) — All ten House incumbents endorsed by New Politics have won reelection, holding seats that were essential to the new Democratic House majority. Each of these members served the country before they ever ran for office, and several of them won in hard-fought battleground districts. New Politics re-endorsed all ten in March 2026.

The New Politics-endorsed House incumbents reelected tonight are:

  • Rep. Derek Tran (CA-45)
  • Rep. Jason Crow (CO-06)
  • Rep. Jake Auchincloss (MA-04)
  • Rep. Maggie Goodlander (NH-02)
  • Rep. Herb Conaway (NJ-03)
  • Rep. Pat Ryan (NY-18)
  • Rep. Don Davis (NC-01)
  • Rep. Chris Deluzio (PA-17)
  • Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (PA-06)
  • Rep. Eugene Vindman (VA-07)

Emily Cherniack, Founder and Executive Director of New Politics, released the following statement:

“You don't win back the House by flipping seats alone. You have to hold the ones you have, and last night every one of our incumbents held theirs. These ten leaders served this country in uniform and in their communities long before they ran for Congress, and they've governed day in and day out by showing up, doing the work, and putting the people they represent ahead of themselves. Some of these members won in the toughest districts in America, and they did it by earning trust, not by playing politics. New Politics is proud to stand with all ten of them as they head back to Washington with a Democratic majority.”
