Congressman Pat Ryan, representing New York's 18th District, is a West Point graduate and former Army intelligence officer with two combat tours in Iraq. After his military service, Pat founded a technology company, which grew to over 150 employees. As an executive, he managed a $25 million annual budget and worked to build partnerships with government and nonprofit organizations. Pat served as Ulster County Executive from 2019 until 2022, when he ran for Congress. He is a fifth-generation Ulster County native who lives in Gardiner with his wife Rebecca and two young children, Theo and Cameron. Pat's congressional work draws on his diverse experience in military service, business leadership, and local government management.
