Endorsement: Dr. Kermit Jones for Congress, California's 4th District

About Dr. Kermit Jones
Jones first felt called to serve during his third year of medical school when the tragedy of 9/11 struck. He joined the U.S. Navy to become a flight surgeon and deployed to Iraq with a Marine squadron that took injured service members and Iraqi civilians to safety. After returning from Iraq, Jones served as a White House Fellow under President Obama, working with the Secretary of Health & Human Services to improve quality of care for veterans. Jones is running for Congress because too many people are struggling with the skyrocketing cost of care and prescription drugs while politicians continue to put partisan politics ahead of the health of our families by ignoring experts and opposing policies to encourage masks and the vaccine. Jones has treated close to 20,000 patients, never once asking whether they were Democrat or a Republican. After 13 years of a career politician who cares more about politics than people, California families deserve a representative who puts them first.
