WASHINGTON D.C.—New Politics today endorsed Marine Corps veteran Trent Emeneker for West Chester Trustee. Emily Cherniack, Founder and Executive Director of New Politics released the following statement:

“We need more people like Trent serving in office. When he served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan, Trent never asked whether the Marines he served with were Democrats or Republicans—they came together as Americans to accomplish their mission. That's the same style of leadership Trent will bring to the West Chester Township Board of Trustees, and we are thrilled to endorse him.”

About Trent Emeneker
Trent Emeneker joined the Marine Corps at 22 and served for 10 years on active duty before joining the Reserves, where he continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel. A Naval Aviator who flew in the F/A-18, Trent deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan with an infantry unit, and twice to the Western Pacific. After leaving active duty, he used the GI Bill to pursue an MBA from Columbia Business School. He then moved to West Chester to begin a career with General Electric. After being laid off at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, he began a consulting business where he guides tech startups through the process of taking concepts from an idea to product delivery. He is running for Township Trustee to ensure West Chester remains a place his sons, ages 3 and 5, would choose to live and work when they are grown, just as he and his wife, Emily, did.
