Ty Mathews represents Ohio’s 83rd House District and serves as Vice Chair of the House Veteran and Military Development Committee, as well as on the Development, Government Oversight, and Natural Resources committees. A U.S. Army National Guard Infantry Officer and Iraq veteran, he was recognized as a “Top Rated” soldier and earned honors including Distinguished Military Honor Graduate and Soldier of the Cycle. He currently serves as commander of HHC, 1-145th Armor Regiment in the Ohio National Guard.
