James Talarico

U.S. Senate
Texas

James Talarico has dedicated his career to public service and education. After serving with AmeriCorps, he worked as a public school teacher before being elected to the Texas State House in 2018, representing Round Rock and Cedar Park. In the legislature, he has been a champion for public education, healthcare access, and economic opportunity for working families. Despite serving in the minority party, James has built bipartisan coalitions and passed meaningful legislation that directly impacts his constituents' lives. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, James brings the collaborative leadership and authentic communication skills that Texas needs in the U.S. Senate. He is running to be a voice for all Texans, regardless of party affiliation.
