Zac is a dad, a Marine veteran, a neighborhood association president, and a high school football coach.

A Naval Academy graduate, Zac served eight years in the US Marine Corps, spending his last three years teaching American Government and training aspiring Marines at the Naval Academy. He is currently the Vice President for Economic Development at the Midtown Community Benefits District, where he works with Baltimore City Government, neighborhood leaders, and others to make Mount Vernon, Madison Park, Bolton Hill, and Charles North better places to live, work, and play.

He lives with his wife Alexa and baby Jude near Cross St Market, where they are parishioners at the Catholic Community of South Baltimore. He serves as the president and block captain chair of the Federal Hill Neighborhood Association, and as the Design Committee chair of Federal Hill Main Street. He is an active member of Strong Towns Baltimore.
