Prior to moving to DC 8 years ago, Meleia served in Peace Corps Malawi. She has held a number of roles, most recently as a program specialist focusing on intercultural understanding. Meleia started as a transportation program analyst at the Department of Transportation in February. She has great enthusiasm for learning and training in all forms, and brings a creative spark to professional settings. Meleia is pathological optimist who enjoys yoga, bird watching, and spoken word arts(poetry and storytelling).
