Roger Wong is a social impact leader in New York City. Inspired by his personal experiences as an immigrant to the U.S. and witnessing the death of a friend in the September 11 attacks, he served as a two-term AmeriCorps Promise Fellow in Greater Boston where he created opportunities for young people to become civic leaders and actively engaged in their communities. His activism has continued over the years and across institutions and borders, having also served as a Camp Counselor at Seeds of Peace and led corporate social responsibility programs at Charles Schwab and Marsh. Additionally, he has helped design and launch two AmeriCorps programs at NYC Service (a division of the Office of the Mayor).
