Shenna Bellows is an AmeriCorps alum and a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer. As a Peace Corps volunteer, Shenna helped establish microlending programs in Panama, and worked on economic empowerment programs for public housing residents through AmeriCorps.

More recently, Shenna served as the Director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Maine. Prior to being elected Secretary of State, she served in the Maine State Senate. Shenna ran for State Senate to ensure that Mainers have good jobs, an education system that sets up students for success, and affordable healthcare for all.
