Earlier today, we endorsed Nikki Foster in her run for Congress in Ohio’s First District. Foster deployed five times with the US Air Force, and attained the rank of Major. She continues to serve in the Air Force Reserves as a USAF Academy Admissions Liaison officer. Nikki currently works for GE and is deeply involved in GE’s Veterans Network, and she also volunteers as a veteran transition counselor for Hire Heroes USA. Nikki is also a graduate of Answering the Call, a leadership development program run by New Politics Leadership Academy.

Here’s what Emily had to say about Nikki: “Nikki Foster is a leader who put service over self as a pilot in the Air Force, and at a time when our nation is so divided, she stands out as a servant leader who will bring people together and do what’s right in Congress. We are proud to endorse a leader in Nikki Foster who has dedicated her life to service, from her time in the Air Force to her deep engagement in her local community. We are excited to see Nikki bring her servant leadership and dedication to putting country over party to Congress.”

We have endorsed the reelection campaigns of eight members of Congress in the 2020 cycle. Nikki Foster is the fourth congressional challenger we’ve endorsed this year; in September, we endorsed Kim Olson in TX-24. Our endorsements include strategic advising and training in all aspects of a candidate’s campaign, such as fundraising, communications, organizing, and hiring and team building. In 2018, we helped raise over $7M for their endorsed candidates.
