Juana Matias began her many years of service in AmeriCorps and has held several critical leadership positions since then. Now as a Massachusetts State Representative, Juana has sponsored key legislation to make college affordable, protect immigrant rights, promote access to minority owned/women owned businesses, address inequities in our public school system and expand opportunities for working class Americans. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston with Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice, and received a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2014.
