Joseph Kopser is an entrepreneur, veteran, and proud father of three. From joining the military at West Point to creating good-paying jobs right here in Texas, Joseph has dedicated his life to service. Joseph served in the Army for 20 years, earning the Combat Action Badge, Army Ranger Tab, and Bronze Star.
He’s dedicated his post-military career to building innovative companies and empowering workers. After returning from war, he co-founded and served as CEO of RideScout, a Texas-born tech company that made commutes easier. In 2013, the White House recognized Joseph as a Champion of Change for his efforts in energy and transportation.
Most recently, Joseph has put his Army leadership expertise to work helping governments and companies solve complex problems. As the president of Grayline, he brings together experts and data to help craft solutions to the problems of our day and manage disruptive change.
In his free time, Joseph advises the nonprofit Bunker Labs in Austin and San Antonio, helping veterans become successful entrepreneurs and community leaders. He co-founded 60×30 Works to improve education and workforce training to meet the needs of Texas’ evolving economy. In addition, he co-founded and served as Chairman of the National Security Technology Accelerator working to improve US Energy Security policy – and also serves with the Texas Lyceum, the Truman National Security Project, the Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the Texas Association of Business. Joseph lives in Austin with his wife and three daughters – one each in high school, college, and graduate school.
