Blog: We hosted our first Elected Officials Summit

This past Sunday, we brought together our state and local elected leaders for the first time for a day of leadership development and political training. The training was rooted in New Politics’ trademark Leading with Purpose methodology, and consisted of workshops on communications and fundraising strategy. The elected leaders also spent time connecting with each other and building best practices while sharing insights from their experiences in office. New Politics supported each of these leaders when they ran for office, and we continue to provide them with support and training now that they are in elected office. Our first State & Local Leaders Summit was a great opportunity to provide training and build community, and we look forward to continuing to grow this movement at the state and local levels and connect service leaders from across the country.
