Ely Flores graduated from LA CAUSA YouthBuild in 2005, then committed a year of service through Public Allies Los Angeles, an AmeriCorps program committed to advancing social justice and equity by engaging and activating the leadership capacities of young people. Since then, Ely’s professional career has included leadership roles in local, national, and international organizations, as well as work in renewable energy development for a statewide low-income solar program. He is currently the California Director of Civic Engagement for NALEO Educational Fund where he manages statewide Citizenship, Voter Engagement, and Census 2020 programs and campaigns. Ely has a BA in Organizational Management and a MA in Social Impact.
