David is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, having served as a youth development specialist in Costa Rica for two years. David currently lives in Washington, D.C. and works at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on trade facilitation and enforcement. David also spent one year teaching in Spain on a Fulbright grant. David holds a bachelor’s in political science from Tulane University and a master’s in public policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
