David Eric Myles currently serves on the Rockville Goes Purple opioid awareness planning committee. Additionally, he served on the Rockville Bike Advisory Committee (RBAC) and as the physician representative for Montgomery County’s Mental Health Advisory Committee. As a veteran of the US Navy and a pediatrician by training, he currently provides pro-bono outpatient medical care at Holy Cross Hospital in addition to working as a pediatrician in the Hospital's Emergency Department. After graduating Yale University with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science (MS) in psychology, he first moved to Maryland to pursue pediatrics residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He and his family are members of Lincoln Park’s Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
