Jamel Campbell-Gooch

Jamel Campbell-Gooch ran for election to the Nashville Metro Council to represent District 21 in Tennessee. Jamel is a community organizer with the Southern Movement Committee and Black Nashville Assembly where he is building a people-driven democracy and organizing to implement policies and programs that center students, teachers, public employees, and working-class families. Jamel was also a member of the Community Oversight Board from 2019 to 2022.
