David Bowen

David Bowen served four terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly for four terms (2014-2023). As an Assemblyman, David served on the Assembly’s Committees on Education, Community Development, Children and Families, Study Committee on Tribal Relations, and was a Ranking Member of the Committee on Corrections. Before the State Assembly, David served on the Milwaukee County Board as Board Supervisor for the 10th District, becoming the youngest member of the Board and one of the youngest Black local elected officials in Milwaukee’s history. Bowen previously served with AmeriCorps.
